Yukie Teramachi is an insightful and engaging writer, known for her in-depth interviews and ability to craft compelling narratives. She captures the essence of her subjects and the vibrant culture of Tokyo, blending personal stories with broader themes. Her journalistic style combines thorough research with a unique perspective, making her articles both informative and relatable.
She launched the Funtrap Showroom in Los Angeles in 2005, which showcases Japanese designs. Her showroom also features innovative menswear and eco-friendly products, focusing on bringing Japanese creativity to the U.S. market.
Additionally, Yukie is a key figure in journalism, serving on the board of Global Press, a nonprofit organization that supports Japanese journalists based overseas. The organization works to facilitate news exchanges between Japanese media and foreign-based journalists.
Yukie's devoted her life to being a POSITIVE communicator between artists and audience and to facilitating communication between entrepreneurs and customers. In her quest to be a better communicator, she is always learning about, and connecting with people.
Yukie is currently based in Tokyo, Japan. She travels often to the U.S. and Taiwan.
Currently, Yukie is increasingly working with companies on creating original content for their PR and owned media. She listens to the stories of people who are active in the organization and create stories that people outside the company can relate to.
Yukie is also the board of director (BofD) of Global Press, a non profit organization certified by the city of Tokyo.
