Yukie Teramachi is an insightful writer and journalist known for her in-depth interviews and her ability to craft narratives that connect people, cultures, and ideas. Based in Tokyo, she weaves personal stories with broader social themes, making her work both relatable and thought-provoking.

Before returning to Japan, Yukie worked in Los Angeles, collaborating with fashion brands and managing a showroom that connected Japanese designers with international markets.

Currently, she serves as a Food Educational Trainer (Kids Shokuiku Trainer), a role inspired by her children’s International Baccalaureate (IB) learning journey. As both a journalist and educator, she continues to explore inquiry-based and active learning, integrating these approaches into her work in food education and storytelling.

Yukie is also an experienced event organizer, having planned and hosted fundraising events and international gatherings that bring together people from diverse cultural backgrounds. She believes in the power of shared experiences to foster understanding and connection.

Yukie is also a Board Director at Global Press, a nonprofit organization certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that supports Japanese journalists overseas and facilitates international media exchange.

She collaborates with companies and organizations to create original stories and PR content, helping them express their values through authentic, human-centered communication.
